A vascular bundle of nerves.
A vessel of nervous energy.
Sweating bullets
I'm a wreck.
Twitchy.
Now that I think about it, there is a sort of human-esqe anatomical look to this tree, almost as if it was a bundle of nerves and muscle. o__O
